CICD is a U.S. Department of State designated J-1 Visa sponsor organization for the Intern, Trainee, Summer Work Travel, and Teacher Exchange Visitor Program categories.
Let CICD help you internationalize your career or business!
To promote the exchange of culture, ideas and relevant experience worldwide through quality training, internship, work-abroad and volunteer programs for qualified and diverse international interns, trainees, Work and Travel students, volunteers, and great host companies.
CICD traces its roots to 1987 when its former parent organization, NorthWest Student Exchange (NWSE), was founded as a non-profit organization for international student exchange programs.
In 1997, NWSE created a new direction of activity, receiving U.S. Department of State designation for its promising Trainee program. That program was founded with the name Center for International Career Development – CICD.
Drawing upon nearly three decades of international experience and providing thousands of successful programs, CICD now provides international cultural exchange programming and related opportunities on 6 of 7 continents for intern, trainee, volunteer, work abroad, teacher, and summer work and travel participants.
Providing excellence in cultural exchange is our passion.
