This internship program begins with a 2-week language immersion at a language school in Munich. Cultural activities are offered in the afternoons. Participants are accommodated with a host family (single room, breakfast and dinner included). Participants are placed at a 4-star hotels with gastronomic restaurants (1 Michelin star Chefs) outside of Munich to start their 8-10 week savory/pastry placement. Participants are provided shared staff accommodation, meals on and off duty, and a 200 Euro per month stipend. Transportation to the internship site will be organized in cooperation with CICD’s German partner organization. International medical insurance is provided. Follow-up during the placement is performed by CICD and its partner in Germany
Current enrollment at a US or European college or university or recent graduate in culinary or pastry arts (must have completed a minimum of 4 semesters).
