  Available J-1 Training/Internship Position - Tourism Management Intern

Start Date:Open until filled
Hours:40 hours/week
Compensation:unpaid
Location:Owings Mills, MD
Duration:5 - 6 months

Summary:
Company is a global business travel management company. It helps a wide-range of small, medium and large client companies create customized travel programs that support their business objectives. Their 25 years of experience and knowledgeable business travel consultants and strong vendor relationships combine to deliver cost-effective travel. The company also has divisions to support the missions of organizations focused on humanitarian and faith based efforts.

Internship Duties and Activities:
  • Assist in marketing to new and prospective clients
  • Assist travel agents with clients and booking tickets in reservations systems
  • Learn industry Account Principals and accounting procedures
  • Assist company president with daily tasks and back office/operational processes

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Student in the field of: Tourism or related field
  • Computer Skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Customer Service Skills
  • Spoken/Written English
  • Required Language Skills: English
