  Available J-1 Training/Internship Position - Web Development Intern

Start Date:Fall 2010
Hours:40 hours/week
Compensation:unpaid
Other Compensation:$300 stipend upon internship completion
Location:Seattle, WA
Duration:3 - 9 months

Summary:
This company is an Internet Marketing firm, specializing in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The company designs and develops business-class websites for clients who understand the value of using search engine rankings as a means to boost their revenue. Additionally, they offer: Social Media Marketing (SMM), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), and Pay Per Click (PPC) solutions. This company is young, energetic and ready to take on the challenges businesses face in the highly competitive online world.

Internship Duties and Activities:
  • The intern will assist the web development team to create websites that meet the needs of clients and will learn how to translate client needs into an end product.
  • The intern will gain practical knowledge of web development technologies and how the apply them to a variety of projects.
  • The intern will walk away with a portfolio piece and have access to the company founders and top management and make other industry connections.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Student in the field of: Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong skills in html and CSS foundation at minimum.
  • Skills in Asp.net/php, mssql/mysql, JQuery are desired.
  • Strong desire to enhance existing web development skills.
