  Available J-1 Training/Internship Position - Media Production Intern

Duration:3 - 6 months

Summary:
This is a Los Angeles based company which utilizes over 20 years of broadcasting experience and expertise to offer content and media solutions. The company offers a diverse range of services including an entertainment video news agency that covers both Latino and General Market Events and distributes to other outlets around the globe.

Internship Duties and Activities:
  • Pre-Production: The intern will gain a complete overview of the production process by rotating through different departments of the company and assisting with setting up interviews, coordinating video shoot locations, and maintaining the company's calendar of events.
  • Production: The intern will assist our cameramen and reporters in the field during coverage of red carpet events. The intern will gain skills in developing questions for interviews and assist with conducting celebrity interviews under supervision.
  • Post Production: The intern will gain an understanding of the process of video editing and archiving sensitive celebrity footage.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Student
  • Motivated, dedicated, and passionate about gaining skills and knowledge in the field of broadcast journalism
  • Knowledge of Final Cut Pro/Vegas editing software
  • Preferred Language Skills: Spanish is helpful, but not required
