   Available J-1 Training/Internship Position - Database Project Intern

Start Date:open until filled
Hours:40 hours/week
Compensation:unpaid
Location:Beverly Hills, CA
Duration:3 - 12 months

Summary:
This company is dedicated to linguistic solutions. Their suite of services includes project management for written translations, oral interpretations, multilingual desktop publishing, audiovisuals, website localization and other language services. This is a great opportunity for candidates seeking to exercise their programming skills and provide valuable input in the creation of a new, user-friendly database system for the company. The intern will have a very hands on role in this project and should be able to exhibit flexibility and a strong collaborative nature.

Internship Duties and Activities:
  • Intern will assist in conceiving a new clients/associates database for our company.
  • Intern will assist staff members to determine required components of a new database for the company.
  • Intern will assist to design and execute this new database.
  • Intern will assist with company wide IT needs as they arise during the internship.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Student in the field of: Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience in building and maintaining databases.
  • Experience with Visual Basic
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Required Language Skills: High level of written and spoken English
