  Available J-1 Training/Internship Position - Language Project Intern

Start Date:open until filled
Hours:40 hours/week
Compensation:unpaid
Location:Beverly Hills, CA
Duration:2 - 12 months

Summary:
This company is dedicated to linguistic solutions. Their suite of services includes project management for written translations, oral interpretations, multilingual desktop publishing, audiovisuals, website localization and other language services. Located in Beverly Hills, CA, this internship is a great opportunity for an individual who would like to explore the Los Angeles area.

Internship Duties and Activities:
  • Intern will assist with language projects (translations and interpretations).
  • Intern will assist with editing and proofreading of documents.
  • Intern will assist with our information systems manager at conceiving a new clients/associates database for our company.
  • Intern will assist with marketing including updating our advertising material, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Student in the field of: Languages, Linguistics, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of university level studies
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office applications) and an ability to learn new software applications quickly and with ease
  • Required Language Skills: High level of written and spoken English
  • Preferred Language Skills: Spanish, German, French or Japanese
