   Available J-1 Training/Internship Position - Reservations Intern

Start Date:June/July 2010
Hours:40 hours/week
Compensation:$2,250 per month
Location:Los Angeles, CA
Duration:12 - 12 months

Summary:
This travel agency is a receptive operator, contracting and organizing travel arrangements for international guests traveling to the United States. This company is a subsidiary of a large German Tour Operator. Located in Los Angeles, CA, this is an excellent opportunity for an international intern who is interested in exploring Southern California during their internship.

Internship Duties and Activities:
  • Intern will assist to input customer reservations.
  • Intern will assist to create travel packages and offers for clients.
  • Intern will assist to manage reservations data.
  • Intern will assist with Sales and Contracting departments to ensure correct reservations procedures are in place for specific clients.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-3 of work experience in related field
  • Undergraduate Student in the field of: Travel / Hospitality/Tourism
  • Ability to work well in a team and possess a desire to excel
  • Good command of the English language
  • Solid computer skills
  • Experience working, studying or traveling in the U.S. preferred
  • Required Language Skills: Fluency in German
