   Available J-1 Training/Internship Position - Contracting Intern

Start Date:02/01/10
Hours:40 hours/week
Compensation:$2,250 per month
Location:Los Angeles, CA
Duration:12 - 12 months

Summary:
This travel agency is a receptive operator, contracting and organizing travel arrangements for international guests traveling to the United States. The company is a subsidiary of a large German Tour Operator. Located in Los Angeles, CA, this is an excellent opportunity for an international intern who is interested in exploring Southern California during their internship.

Internship Duties and Activities:
  • The intern will assist wit data input of hotel contracts.
  • The intern will assist with data management and delivery to sales and reservation departments.
  • The intern will assist with proofreading of German brochures, communication with hotel partners.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-3 of work experience in related field
  • Undergraduate Student in the field of: Travel / Hospitality/Tourism
  • Ability to work well in a team and possess a desire to excel
  • Good command of the English language
  • Solid computer skills
  • Experience working, studying or traveling in the U.S. preferred
  • Required Language Skills: Fluency in German
