  Available J-1 Trainee/ Internship Position - Operations Management Internship

Start Date(s): August 2010
Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: $500/month
Location: San Francisco, CA and Newington, CT
Training Duration: 6-18 months


Summary:
This global leader in building envelope technology and one of the world's largest suppliers of solar power systems with locations in 70 countries. This company has a location in San Francisco, CA and a plant in Newington, CT and has been supplying windows, facades and solar technology for the US market.


Training/Internship Objectives:
  • Support the VP Products / NBD in all business related topics
  • Assist with defining and establishing a process for product introduction, product pricing and product management (product master list)
  • Assist with defining and establishing team and organization processes to ensure a stable and reliable business work flow
  • Assist with presentations about products, market and process documentation

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Min. 21 years old
  • 5th semester or higher in logistics, IT, industrial engineering or any technical engineering studies combined with business background from a university in Germany or Austria
  • International driver's license
  • Good English skills, fluent German language skills
