Our partner's language school in Argentina, situated in a beautiful town chalet at the Plaza of Alta Cordoba, offers the entire spectrum of Spanish language courses. Classes are taught in Castillian Spanish (castellano), the South American Spanish of Argentina. Castellano is well understood in other Spanish-speaking countries around the world.

LANGUAGE LEVELS

A language level test (oral and/or written) is held at the beginning of each curse to determine the appropriate course level for each individual. Generally, 3 class levels are available: basic (beginners), intermediate and advanced.

LANGUAGE CLASSES

Class size is limited to 3-8 students to ensure optimal results in each course. The small size of the group allows for an intensive exchange between students and instructors, and allows for flexibility with the curriculum and topic. Language instruction takes place Monday to Friday between 9.00 am and 6.30 pm. To ensure effective learning, classes are held primarily in Spanish. Participants receive a language certificate upon completion of the language course.

INSTRUCTORS

All instructors are native speakers and experienced in teaching foreigners. Instructors typically speak another foreign language such as English or German or have lived abroad.

INSTRUCTION MATERIALS

Participants must purchase a course book on location. Course books cost approximately $10-20, depending on language level and course. Students should bring a Spanish/native language dictionary.

ACCOMMODATION

Furnished rooming houses (shared houses with other international students), host families or shared flats with locals are offered for the duration of the language course. Prices range from $85 per week (shared room in a rooming house on self-catering basis) to $235 per week (home stay, single room, half board basis). Please click here for accommodation details.

PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY

Payment: Deposit to CICD upon registration = 50% of total program fees including nonrefundable deposit; remaining balance due CICD a minimum of 4 weeks before program start date.

Refund policy: Cancellation between 90 days to one week prior to planned program start date: $150 cancellation fee + one week accommodation. Cancellation 6 days or less prior to planned program start date: $150 cancellation fees + one week accommodation + one week language lessons + fees for airport pick up (and other unrecoverable expenses).
